Report on Children Supplementary Centre in Perikeedu
For the Month of September 2016
On 14th October 2016, the representatives of ARV visited the School in Perikeedu
and interacted with the children and parents and handed over scholarship to
17 children for the month of September.

Firstly, the School Principal, Mr. Jeevi V. Ratnam called for a parental meeting.
He enquired about the whereabouts of the parents and the children. He explained
to the parents about the scholarship given by Mr. Robin (‘ Starving No More’) through
ARV. He addressed the parents on how to discipline and teach the children and
on how to use the given scholarship.

The parents expressed their anguish in their inability to educate the children with the
meager amount they earn. They responded saying that the wages they get is barely
sufficient to feed the family let alone educate them. They expressed their sincere
gratitude to ARV and Mr. Robin (‘Starving No More ’) for assisting their children in their
education.

The children showed their Report Cards to their parents on the improvement they made
in their studies. All the children showed good improvement by securing good marks
in the exams. They promised to work still harder and secure good marks. The parents
were extremely happy with the progress of their children.

Finally the scholarship amount was given by the Principal to the children in the presence
of their parents. The scholarship was handed over to the 17 children present.
